Tim West Photography (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates The Herd mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.

Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use the App:

• Account Information: Email address and encrypted password when you create an account.
• Subscription Data: We track your subscription status to provide access to premium content. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store.
• Usage Data: We may collect anonymous usage data such as photo views to improve the App experience.
• Push Notification Tokens: If you enable notifications, we store your device push token to deliver notifications.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the App’s functionality
• To manage your account and subscription

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database platform. Passwords are encrypted using bcrypt hashing. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information. Payment information is handled entirely by Apple and is never stored on our servers.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Apple App Store: For subscription payment processing
• Expo: For push notification delivery
• Supabase: For data storage and authentication

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties. We only share data with the third-party services listed above to the extent necessary to operate the App.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time through the Profile tab in the App. When you delete your account, all associated data (including your account information, session data, entitlements, and notification preferences) will be permanently removed from our servers. If you have an active subscription, please cancel it through Apple before deleting your account.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.
